When Illinois state grants will be released, we want you to be prepared! The Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Pre-Award preparation session will help you prepare to quickly act on Notice Of Funding Opportunities. In this session, we will cover a list of prerequisites to prepare for registration to be able to submit a grant application to the state of Illinois. We will also discuss the process of the needed risk assessments before the issuance of a state award.

Below are the five grantee pre-award requirements for the GATA:

  1. Authentication

  2. Grantee Registration

  3. Grantee Pre-qualification

  4. Fiscal and Administrative Risk Assessment (ICQ)

  5. Programmatic Risk Assessment
