Entrepreneurship Capacity-Building Cohort Program Info Session

ESDC’s Entrepreneurship Capacity-Building Cohort Program prepares aspiring entrepreneurs to launch a successful business. Business owners can also learn how to take their enterprise to the next phase of development. The program will focus on entrepreneurial building-blocks and access to capital: market research, business planning, credit-building, business registration, permits and licenses, branding, marketing, tax planning, business loans and grants. Program participants will also receive technical assistance and access to networking opportunities. Program participants will be able to learn in a supportive setting and will have the option to learn in-person or online.

Goals for program participants:

• Gain applicable knowledge to launch a successful business
• Discover the value of understanding the market in which they wish to participate
• Learn how to effectively plan for their business
• Strengthen their vision of the business they want to pursue
• Increase their ability to access capital for their business
