After earning an M.S. in Education Leadership from Argosy University while teaching 5th grade, Todd Haughey continued down a career path that took him to Florida, where he performed his duties as Director of Operations for Charter School Associates in Coral Springs, Florida. An opportunity at Elevate Learning then brought him to Chicago, where he was able to focus more on the business side of private-sector education. The solid strategic planning experience and business development he gained as a project director, prepared him for the position he would later fill at Greater River North Business Association, where he served as the vice-president of business development. He has since joined ESDC as The Director of the Neighborhood Business Development Center (NBDC) where he is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the development, delivery and reporting of the Neighborhood Business Development Center at ESDC, and where his dynamic background and skill set allows ESDC to better fulfill its commitment to the communities it serves.
